Cute, Hippie, and Girly

email

I absolutely love handmade things because it feels personal, it makes the item so very special and real to me. It almost feels like they made it just for you. I also like to get to know my customers on a personal level so that when I create something, they will know why I made it and the buyer will have this story to tell about the piece.

Random Facts About You?

One-I have an amazingly cute yorkie!

Dos-I have a true passion and love of making art in all kinds of forms

Three-My inspiration for my art and personal style is hippie, girly/pink stuff, and rockabilly

Four-I change my mind about a million times a day

What got you started crafting?

I have always loved painting and creating pieces of art but only recently did I decide I would like to make a career out of it. Got to love what you do, right? And I really do love what I am doing :)

What is your source of inspiration?

Besides beautiful images I find on Weheartit.com, my source of inspiration is me, whatever I am feeling or thinking I like to get out of my head and pass it on to someone else. Just spreading the love :)

What have you made recently?

I recently made a very cool painting of a girl. I have wanted to change my hair color so I painted a girl with the hair I want ha. The only facial features you can see are her bright red lips, winged eye liner, and beauty mark. Her hair is pink and she has a pink polka dot bow on her head, very girly and cute! She looks kind of scene to me. My special touch to all my pieces is glitter. I try to incorporate glitter into each thing I make. The pink haired girl has glitter in her hair, beauty mark, and bow. I really am proud of this piece, it was very fun to make!

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

I sell my "creations" as I call them through my Etsy store.

Decorating eggs is an ancient art form dating far back into past centuries, and is still practiced today by folk artists around the world. Most widely known are the Ukrainian or Polish decorated eggs known as pysanky or pisanki. The colors and symbols on these beautiful works of art each have a special meaning.
