Although I love to buy and sell vintage and handmade clothing, gifts and items, I do know it’s not entirely practical all the time. I do like to buy quality, however, over cheap and badly sourced goods. I would always opt for well made shoes – for example something that will last more than one season, break and add to the mountains of rubbish we offload on other countries.
Part of the fun is in the searching!

What got you started crafting?
I remember my mum saying when I was tiny, tiny I would nibble on a rusk biscuit and hold it to the light and announce the shape "Chicken!" or "Dog" (I was still learning words). I think everyone has a need to create; mine just came out in crafting something into other things. Loved mosaics and collages as a little girl - then I made a patchwork quilt and progressed to a skirt, sort of snowballed from there on!
What is your source of inspiration?
Fantasy fairy tales, circus, performers, cabaret, colour...
What have you made recently?
Most recently I have been working on a patchwork. Something just for me really. Its a great way to unwind after a day of err.. crafting. Its quick as you get to see results almost straight away and practical too. I love my collection of fabrics, what better way to see them all at once!
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell online as well as Festivals, Fairs and House Parties
