What got you started crafting?

When I started in the jewelry business I wash only selling it, and I would watch the lead goldsmith for hours and I told him that it looked easy so he smiled and handed me some wire and a plate of silver and said make something and I said fine I will
And I made a jump ring bracelet and a silver band ring and it surprise him and became his apprentice for 3 years.

What is your source of inspiration?

When I ‘am sitting at my bench and working with the marital that is when I create, not before with drawings I find that I do better when I work with my hands on the wax or with the raw metal.

What have you made recently?

I have been working a lot with brass and I’m just finishing my new line called “open ended” and it is modern and very delicate and playful while wearing and I will have photos on my website www.arwerner.com

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

I sell in jewelry stores and I have website www.arwerner.com “that im very proud of”
And through various online stores.

Why are handmade crafts important to you?

Handmade jewelry is something that can’t be repeated it is a signature or a fingerprint and that is unique and distinctive and we all want to stand out or have something that is a little extraordinary.
