I’m inspired by so much in my life ~ from the other amazing artisans I admire and have come to call friends, to the wonderful support of my family, I find inspiration in so many aspects of my own life but more than anything I find it in the gratitude I feel each and everyday to be able to do what I love most and through the ability to touch the lives of others in a beautiful and positive way.

1-Much of what I do is of an intuitive nature; tapping into my customer's inner vision of the background they want to represent their handmade creations and blogging voice ~ I consider this a gift and one I'm quite grateful to possess.
2-I love helping and teaching others so part of the work I do is through the tutorials I provide ~ whether it's how to navigate blogland or a social network, I not only supply pretty graphic creations but assist my customers and followers in how to use them.
3-Favorite Quote: "Be the change you want to see ~ take flight and grow".
4-The best friends I've ever made are those creative souls I've met online ~ through my own artwork and admiring that of other artisans, my online travels have brought friends near and far to my doorstep and vice-versa.
What got you started crafting?
I've been crafting since I can remembered but worked for years in the corporate grind, always wishing I could be an independent artisan. It wasn't until I became disabled short-term that my hand was forced into crafting full time. Although I've long since recovered, my love of art has taken me on a road in which I've continued to work as a full time artisan and happily never looked back to that corporate world ~ except to maybe reflect on how little I miss it.
What is your source of inspiration?
I'm inspired by so much in my life ~ from the other amazing artisans I admire and have come to call friends, to the wonderful support of my family, I find inspiration in so many aspects of my own life but more than anything I find it in the gratitude I feel each and everyday to be able to do what I love most and through the ability to touch the lives of others in a beautiful and positive way.
What have you made recently?
I recently created a new seasonal theme for Adventure of the Striped Stockings.
The owner, Celia and I have worked together in the past on several projects, but when I was first contacted for this new theme I wasn't quite sure how to approach it or if I could even deliver what she was looking for. Through the creative process the theme took shape and in the end we both couldn't be more delighted with the movement and feel of this whimsical theme. So often working on themes is like this for me ~ a customer may give me nothing more than a few favorite colors and in the end I still manage to deliver "exactly what they were looking for". Being able to do this is truly a gift from heaven if you ask me!
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell my graphic creations online and my handmade trinkets & treasures online as well as in boutiques and through the seasonal art show circuit.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
There's just nothing better than handmade ~ owning a piece that someone has put their own time and handy-work into is priceless. In essence you're owning a little portion of their creative spirit ~ what a gift indeed!
