My mother was a fantastic dressmaker and she taught me everything. I started to use a needle very early in my life. When my mother passed I started to create my works with little pieces of fabric remaining from her job. It was the best way to remember her!

I love knowing a product’s story. It just feels so much better to buy something straight from the hands of the maker than in a big soulless chain store.

Function drives the design of each item, creating an easy to use and functional product.

I wish that everyone would pledge to learn at least one craft–if only for the relaxation that crafting brings.

There are so many commercial items out there, some have quality but most don’t offer a way to say this is me. Handmade items, even if you are purchasing them, offer you a way to show off your individual style and how you feel. It speaks for you before you do.

What I think makes fashion special is the idea that it is an extension of yourself and that you use it to express your creativity. So, what better way to express your one-of-a-kind views than by wearing one-of-a-kind, handmade jewelry?

My bunnies provide a great source of inspiration, along with nature. My bunnies provided inspiration for my best seller, the ‘keep calm and give nose rubs’.

My husband makes all the ceramics, I just help with the designs & painting!
