email

Thanks for these opportunity – It helps me to remember why I’m here and not just focus on selling. Just to focus on serve others and help them to get something good and durable with quality materials. Something unique, fun, eclectic, something they can change to their own styles and preferences.

Random Facts About You?

I homeschool my 11 yrs old boy. I like to work on my garden, I love to advocate for Autism, Love to serve others, I don't like to take the photos.

What got you started crafting?

My Mom and Grandmother they were always creating something. I remember my mom creating dresses using crochet and sawing her own cloth. I learned, but I fell in Love with Jewelry and beadwork using semi precious stones. Just to think about colors and matching them to create a vivid color pattern helps me to relax and enjoy nature. I love to see how God created such a wonderful world.

What is your source of inspiration?

My source of inspiration is my garden. I love to recreate the color contrast of the nature, fashion trends, and animals. My family is my inspiration to continue and keep doing what I love. People, my customers are my inspiration because I want to look well I thinks others want that too. Sometimes it is difficult because of the high cost but my desire is to bring handmade unique jewelry at affordable prices.

What have you made recently?

I recently worked on a modern set of earrings with a romantic side. They are a teardrop earrings wrapped with green wire and a beautiful modern but romantic flower in the teardrop. Also include the chains on them with a sparkly swarovski crystal at the end. I love the challenge of making them equal, but handmade is never the same, so they each have their own personality.

My major difficulty is that I always put my heart into my pieces, so at the end I feel so integrated to them that is like a piece of my heart, I feel I can share my passion through it. So, I sometimes don't want to give them away, but when I sell and the customer tells me that they love it, that they feel so unique with them I feel so happy, is like sharing something personal with a good friend. You know that at the end they are going to feel you.

My pieces are nature inspired - I feel that every piece is a loving appreciation of our majestic world. When a customer is happy I feel so happy too. For me my mission is to help others to feel happy. That is also why my pieces are low cost, it is because I want people to be able to look nice with natural stones and semi precious stones at an excellent price. I lower my profit in order to make them affordable.

Where do you sell your crafts presently?

I usually sell my jewelry to family and friends. I love to give them as a personal gifts. Recently I open my etsy shop and I'm creating my own website.

Why are handmade crafts important to you?

Handmade is unique, and there is not two equal handmade jewelry pieces. Every twist is unique, I can select the color combination, the style to create but my favorite part is to be eclectic. That gives me the freedom to design free and customize to the customer ideas and needs. I follow the trends of fashion, but just in my unique way. We all are unique and our jewelry our complement must be unique and not a mass production style.

Handcrafted and made gives us the liberty to change and shine in our own way and interpretation of our surroundings. Also I'm a green person, no Hulk, but just a environmental person so, I want to use something without chemicals or harmful materials.
