What got you started crafting?
I've been creative since birth. I have been using the arts and crafts as a creative outlet ever since I can remember. I constantly need to keep my hands busy and it's the perfect way to let all my creative energy out. Due to my obsessive nature of making things, I decided why not sell them so they can all go to good homes instead of collecting dust on my shelves.
What is your source of inspiration?
Everything and anything! My inspiration comes from daily life.
What have you made recently?
I'm in the process of painting a wooden castle set for my 3 year old son. He's very much into knights and dragons and his birthday is coming up at the end of the month (December). He's been wanting this plastic castle and knight set he spotted in a toy store. I decided I could make one that was cooler and had a more personal touch. Right now I'm in the midst of painting the finished wood castle and will be making some small flags out of fabric. I found a tube of plastic knights at the craft store that I will add when it's all done.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?
I sell on Etsy and eventually want to do some craft fairs... I just have to be consistent with building up my stock before committing to that type of a venture.
Why are handmade crafts important to you?
Because handmade items have a certain charm and uniqueness most store bought items do not.
