Growing up I loved flowers (still do), and I still remember all the varieties of flowers I used to see during my summers at home and when I worked on Mackinac Island. I’m also inspired by the books I read, as I said I love Jane Austen and I also enjoy fairytales and folklore from around the world, so a lot of that inspires me as well.
Anyone can buy a machine made strand of beads- but where is the personal touch? Where is the customer service? The special care and attention to detail? I enjoy creating because I know that every thing that I make is going to be made with all of the above as well as a genuine thoughtfulness for the customers I am creating for.
Holly, it was truly a pleasure reading through your submission. After I finished making your featured crafter profile all pretty, I mosey-ed on over to the site you’ve set up for your daughter, Caleigh, at Caleigh’s Corner. I truly enjoyed reading all about your beautiful daughter. I sat here for awhile trying to find the words to describe your amazing daughter, but ultimately you say it best, “Caleigh is a fighter, a vision of strength & truly a miracle.” You and Caleigh are so blessed to have one another!
One day I decided Id like to throw a dinner party for some of my friends and thought it would be nice to have a new set of napkin rings to go with my newly purchased red cups. I stopped by a bead store and bought some red and green beads and some wires, and a few hours later, I’d made 8 very pretty spiral napkin rings! I fell in love with beads and turning them into pretty and useful items around the house.
