What got you started crafting?
Our creation is the result of two artists who live and create together, but grew up and were raised in different cultures. Diane was trained as a classical jeweler and formed a strong affinity for "Art Deco", whereas Ehud is a scion of eight generations of Yemenite filigree jewelers.
What is your source of inspiration?
With a view to fusion between east and west, old and new, traditional work tools with technological innovations, diverse metals with semi-precious stones.
The dynamics of collaboration lead to a search for new design combinations between old and new techniques. Over the years, different collections were created: a collection of filigree in modern design with semi-precious stones and pearls; another collection of Moroccan "repousse" in silver with gold and semi precious stones, and many more (such as the nature collection). At the request of our customers, we created another filigree collection, and more recently, the amorphous collection made of silver and 22k gold.
Each time we begin the discussion for a new series, the process of searching in various directions begins anew, and each time we are curious to discover the outcome of this interaction
What have you made recently?
The Six Senses Ring:
Six stones with man-made opal set on a hammered silver band bordered by two gold rings, rotating around a curved leaf print silver band.
Our work involves wax, molds and different techniques, such as: hammering, carving, and preparing all the wires for the filigree work.
Sometimes a jewel will require a partial wax model, while another part of it has to be done in filigree work, or metal cutouts, or engraving, or embossing, depending on the character we want to give the jewelry we are building.
Even when we do use casting, it is just a part of the procedure, which includes a large amount of hand work.
Our jewelry always gives the feeling of being one-of-a-kind, as no two pieces look exactly the same, but are extremely similar.
Where do you sell your crafts presently?

Why are handmade crafts important to you?
