All of my pieces are one of a kind, made using jewelry and supplies that I find in antique/resale/thrift shops and at estate sales. Everything is deconstructed and the different bits and pieces are used to design and create new items with a modern-vintage feel to them. The idea of taking things that were once treasured but now are unwanted or broken and creating new pieces out of them really appeals to me.
I’ve always thought about life not as odds ‘n’ ends, but as odds and evens. There are those in life that are paired with another and those left standing alone. That is the yin and yang of life. And then there are the evens that flank the odds. So when you have 2 and add 1, you have an odd and an even. Two can set one apart. And three is the most stable number there is consisting of one even and one odd.
All Little Red packaging is made from 80% recycled materials! I currently work from my home but am hoping to convert a garage into an eco-workshop within the next year – this will involve solar panels and a mini wind turbine to provide the energy I’ll need, plus nifty ways of keeping the heat (very important when working in Scotland!).
